This is something that I can't stand, I hate the kick, the way it looks, the way it feels & the way it STINKS. The only thing I believe the kick could be used for, is moving physics objects with little to no damage on NPCs (we already have a grav-gun though, don't be lazy)
The reason why I bring this up, is last month, out of nowhere, i received a storm of messages from fellow gamers telling me how much they want the kick, miss the kick, and need the kick.
Regardless, my version will never use this...this fuckin......i'm not gonna call it a feature.
However, if there is in fact a hunger for this...nasty ...thing, i'll simply enable it for all of you and give it SMOD's default dmg and force values. Believe it or not, people do find it hard to edit 2 config files to re-enable my "lock" of this stupid thing.
So, do you want a KICK in the ass? or are you with me!!!

Are you serious? Omg what lazy people ... I use the kick often but i have no problem if the kick is locked in the final version. I mean i can edit some cfg files if i want to.

i read your "feelings" about the foot of gordon vet but i didnt see any real problems to remove the kick, yes it ain doing any dmg so you cant kill but it may be usefull while reloading to push some enemies back or just kicking the air like crazy-dancing with no reason for fun. anyway i think you should enable the kick about you no1gamer yes you showed us that you are hacker and you can enable the kick alone but can other people act like you? this mod isnt being created only for you My conclusion: no real problems with the mighty foot to disable it The decision: all yours vet

Yeah it is a little cheesy, but I like the feature, can be handy. Or flashy...walking into a room kicking boxes in the air while placing perfect headshots...

I vote yes, but with refinement. The only way I will accept the kick is if its fire rate (rate of attack?) is reduced dramatically. I love using the kick as more of a stomp, I have always hated wasting ammunition on head crabs and with the kick I can simply stomp on them. I also like the ability to kick shit out of my way when I enter a room.
No one is going to be able to kick a zombie in the head 15 times a second while simultaneously reloading an assault rifle, not even Jet Li! You shouldn't be able to kick again until the animation has completed its cycle.
Without refinement I would say leave it out.

well, im not sure how it was for the old version
but this time around you'll need to modify 2 cfgs, and possibly the valve.rc to "unlock" it, same concept pretty much, but yeah

Just because of those zombies and how they love to crowd around your ass. No! That would make things too easy.

I love the Gordon kick, total Duke Nukem nostalgia. However, I think you should keep it how you want it. You can always release the edited cfg files as a patch type addon thing once all is said and done.

i was thinking though, lets say you just want it to move physics objects, it'll still be a handicap for the easier...i mean that damn kick which ive been testing all day is a freakin tornado man... i guess since business brought up the patch thing, he just volunteered to provide that hahah, it should take you an entire 4 minutes, cause the more i think about, the more i'm anti-kick death to the kick! if the kick is enabled in the next release, it will open a cfg that causes crashes with the client, and only a full reinstallation will solve it Don't you dare activate the kick!!

my brother once told me (what a dick), if you wish..and really believe in it...and want it, it will happen. so he convinced me to wish that i could fly, and told me to run off of my bed and jump towards the entertainment center, he assured me i'd be okay. i tried to gain momentum in the few steps i took before getting to the edge of the bed, and wooooo i launched man, i really, truly thought i was gonna fly, as my brother, 7 years older than me i might add, was very convincing. i landed head first in the entertainment center, knocking all kinds of shit over, and probably hitting myself another 3 or 4 times on the way down, messin my ribs up, my collar bone, all kinds of shit was hurting. I was (WISHFUL)...how strong is your faith?

VET you can do something else then kick, like melee with knife or gun melee etc... to replace original one (kick).

I think the kick is good to push back zombies if you reload your weapon, but not to kill zombies. Therefor is it possible to minimize the damage? I think push back zombies with a kick is quite real, but you can't kick so fast.

If there was a part where you had no weapons and needed to have a zombie (and I don't see where you'd find one) allow the kick. Otherwise scap that crap.

I agree with Chick-Beserk.Scrap the friggin' kick and just add a melee attack instead would YOU kick a zombie if you have a handy pistol with no ammo that can be used as a club??

One more for the "no" from me. I don't care about the kick. I always forget I have it when I play SMOD Sci Fi.
