down THIS file, its an ms3d of the ar2 rifle with a working scope the mirror is exactly what it is, reverse the mesh, rotate it or whatever you need to do till it works, you can also use the one from that file and scale it as needed to your weapon good luck!

Yeah, I ended up fixing that problem. Now whats left is the shadow problem. I may just go ahead and take the face from your scope onto mine and see if that does it. It's really weird how it shadows over like that. and renders the scope nearly useless in dark areas or any tiny bit of shadowed area at all. I'll poke and prod around in my spare time. thanks for the file vet. Edit it's all resolved! I did what vet suggested.. And it wans't mirrored anymore. And i changed the texture property from "VertexLitGeneric" to "UnLitGeneric" and it solved the shadow problem. hehe .. now I can sleep easy tonight. Once I get going on this stuff I don't want to ever stop. Now I can, after a bit of tweaking.
