-You will only need half life 2 standard to run this mod
-You will need at least 1GB ram to run this comfortably (could be wrong, but there's lots of pre-caching)
-Your video card must be fully direct x 9 compatible (bloom, blurs, depth of field-like effects)
-You will need at least 256mb video ram to run this comfortably (maybe not, but i'd strongly recommend it)
-There will be no ironsights included with install (i know i know, give me a break), a member named CaptainTutle has volunteered to do this for you immediately after release.
-Bullet-time and kick are still disabled by default (yeah yeah, I'm trying my best to give you -something-, you'll be able to enable it yourself relax)
-The download will be around 180-190MB, and extract to about 360mb total, PLUS it will have to create sound caches which are around 120+MB or so, not bad at all!
-There are a few things that still need to be worked on, such as the buggy/vehicle script, I'm sorry about this, try to live with it for a bit
-Certain npcs have been fully disabled, such as fast_zombie, poison zombie, houndeye, these are not "broken"
-the "music" triggers for the coast are very, very incomplete, give me some time with these as well, not hard to do, but has to be calculated and applied tastefully
-there is no color correction applied to any of the maps yet (coast maps turning from bright to sunset, super dark ravenholm, etc), i need time for these and it wouldnt be right to make you wait ill im done
-the m16 model may or may not be replaced with a different weapon model and script, even if it stays, there is 1-3 new weapons on the way
-the p228 has been replaced with a glock, meaning the weakest link in the weapon system has been successfully vaporized with a much better replacement
-the maps d1_canals_10, 11,12 & 13, d2_coast_04 have not been edited. or just barely been edited, give me time please
-you should not play past d2_coast_12, as there is no mapadds for them included on purpose, pretend its "to be continued" before you reach the prison
You all have to understand i've been working a billion parts of this mod at once, and in a way was "rushing" to deliver something you'd all enjoy, so now that you will have this in hand, we can iron-out and fix things little by little and as you report them, but most importantly i can focus on the in-depth stuff that takes time
the vehicle script, mapadd corrections/upgrades/color correct, music triggers and weapon replacements will be done, i promise you, just at a proper pace, without the pressure of a release breathing down my neck
i will patch this periodically as time passes from now on, it could be 1 patch a month, to 2 patches a month, maybe 1 patch every 2 months, doesnt matter, point is you will be upgraded for sure
There have been tons of new "discoveries" and features unleashed recently, and i'd need another 6 months at least for you guys to enjoy the effects of them, again, not fair to make you wait, so let this hold you down as i continue development
here are some things i *HOPE* will become a reality in the somewhat near future regarding this mod, although it seems overly ambitious, so was the idea of outbreak and so far so good eh, anything is possible remember that
-complete all unfinished mapadds, except maybe for one or two in canals since some of those maps really have no potential-START working on the novaprospekt maps, so you can continue playing past the coast
-improved, dynamic battles and interaction between npcs
-"zombie hoards" spawning in certain areas, infinitely, causing constant harassment to soldiers and the player
-the same spawning system for the urban maps, creating an infinite, chaotic battles between rebel citizens and soldiers, giving the player a choice to rush through the map, or spend a longer time having fun with the environment

i hope to have this out within the next 48 hours, HOWEVER, if you dont hear or see anything here in that time, please don't panic, and know it's for a good reason, hang in there and try to be as patient as you have
i cant believe we have 500 members, haha. thanks to all of you for your interest and support.
