I have to say, both of the new Z2s came out looking pretty dam good. I honestly didn't expect the ghoul model to perform so well. What the hell is that second model? that thing looks fucking creepy.

my thoughts exactly, that new one sure is nasty to run into in closed spaces, and yeah man, the feral ghoul model was rigged 2nd to none, i was given permission to port it for hl2/smod, so i used a skin from MMM in fallout....still testing between the one seen there, and that black/whitish one i talked about back when i first brought the ghoul up, and thanks
im gettin a lot of shit done this past week, really really good times for outbreak

You should have zombies running around the place in the gman intro sequence instead of the black mesa reactor its a hall with zombies running towards you in the distance and the citadel pods are replaced with hanging zombie ragdolls. Or even you know how gman disapears in the train as it moves your view you could have a zombie running up and the moment it hits your face you zap into the train.

great new upgrades, one thing that might be kool, if your willing to try it, is add different time and wether effects to certain levels, perhaps have it rain in ravenholm, and make certain cloud and sunset/rise effects. rain, thunder, lighting lighing up your surroundings, only to reveal a horde of zombies hiding in the dark of night, man that might make me pee a little. im testing it and got rain to work in hl2, if you want i'll be more than happy to contribute, just email me @ nekoismyfav@yahoo.com (havent gotten lightinh yet though.

Your idea reminds me of that small daytime Ravenholm map. Interesting idea but I'm pretty sure you can't do that with just mapadds and I don't think it'd be practical (or perfectly legal) to change the Valve maps in Hammer and distribute those maps with the mod.

sonsaku, my friend that is an excellent idea, and just last week i brought this up to the troops (my support buddies), the idea was to make for example, Route Kanal (d1_canals_01) into a night map, etc, for concept purposes and the intentions of full implementation later on.
while we were not able to effectively convert the light sources, object lighting etc etc etc (without breaking our necks and ass-bones), i have been using "color correction" to make maps much more....livelier..did i spell that right?
for example, ravenholm is now very dark, making nightvision almost a requirement just to survive areas, and see clearly, dark tunnels have a blueish cold tint to them, the coast maps, as each map progresses, go from sunny, to sunset near the e nd before you reach nova prospect
just lettin ya know im doin the next best thing to that suggestion, and thanks for the great idea
and happy puss, you're right man..from what i know, you gotta mess with the actual bsp, and each lighting source origin or whatever is involved, Plus other shit from what i understood in our dev chamber when i brought this up to everyone
in the end, the color correction seems like a safe, sound approach to enhancing the entire feel and environment of the sp campaign, i promise you, it will definitely not feel like the good ol' hl2 campaign. you'll see!
