Tell what you what people. I haven't played a horror survival game since Silent Hill, and before that was Resident Evil 2, both for playstation 1. After that, I simply lost interest in the stupid puzzles, riddles and stupid time wasting annoyances. There was also a lack of action, running back and forth in environments that looked creepy, but only delivered enjoyable game-play in 5 out of 50 rooms. As a first person shooting maniac, I welcomed Dead Space with open arms. Graphics are excellent, 2nd to none. The voice acting was executed properly and was high quality from start to finish. There's a fool-proof feature at the push of a single key described as "bread crumbs" that ensures you never get lost in other-wise maze-like environments found in most horror survivals. I hated getting lost, or forgetting how to get somewhere, you could say I have a poor sense of direction. Anyway, the sound effects themselves sound very crisp, although they look pretty ugly heheh, they still look good enough to enjoy. The dismemberment, player death sequences, general animations, lighting effects and just about every aspect of this game delivers satisfaction all across the board.....EXCEPT the first person camera...felt too close and claustrophobic for me. I really enjoyed this title, play through One Time, maybe twice. Anyway here's the movie I made for it.
