Help me! Its easy, you just need hammer

Anyone willing to help, you will need hammer and a brain.

All I need you to do is open up hammer, open up any map and then press F9 to compile it. When the little window pops up, select “Expert” compile mode and the window will change. On the left hand side, you will see a few lines of code with check boxes preceding them. On the right hand side you will see to boxes (with code you can select), one is the “cmd.exc” and the other is the “parameters”. You will notice that as you highlight the code on the left side (one with the check boxes) the cmd.exc and the parameters will change.

What I need is for someone to copy the cmd.exc and the parameters (all of them) exactly as it is shown on the left hand side and post them here. Unless you have been messing with it, you should be set to default compile mode. Just highlight each one and copy the cmd.exc and the parameters from the right.

I accidentally removed mine and can no longer compile displacement terrain properly. I will appreciate any help given. If you want I will explain how to create proper displacement terrain (hills and whatnot) if any one is interested.

serously though, teach me to set it up today or tomorrow, and ill do this for you right away, consider it done as soon as we set me up

the vconfig thing was a turn off for me, thats why i need help settin it up

Alright, alright, I suppose I could spare some of my time to educate you. I will see about getting a tutorial together this weekend. It's not a pressing matter but it will be nice to get it working again. Thanks in advance.

Command: $bsp_exe
Parameters: -game $gamedir $path\$file

Command: $vis_exe
Parameters: -game $gamedir $path\$file

Command: $light_exe
Parameters: -game $gamedir $path\$file

Command: Copy File
Parameters: $path\$file.bsp $bspdir\$file.bsp

Command: $game_exe
Parameters: -dev -console -allowdebug -game $gamedir +map $file
