Heavy Metal mainly for me. I grew up with bands rotating through my garage using it as a practice pad thanks to my older brother. So, it's always been a part of my life.
I prefer classic rock at night while I sleep coz I have severe tinnitus (prolly from all the years beside the Marshall stacks). I stream classic rock radio on my puter through the night & it usually helps.

What? huh? I can't hear you. LoL
When I went to the AC/DC "For Those About to Rock" tour, I was right under one of their cannons. I couldn't hear for a week after that!

Show me yur stuff babe. I can filter out the crappy shit that makes it a "demo"....
I like MONUMENTS "This is Serenity".
"Absent Minded" & "Memoirs" had the same tempo & chords as if it was the same song. JMO, I'm no expert.

It actually sounds great. But I come from the days of using a reel to reel tape recorder in the garage! We got all kinds of background noise & feedback etc. (damn I'm feeling old. LoL)
Most of the bands that rotated through my garage just jammed in our garage or played small clubs locally. With the exception of one band "Exodus" that did eventually release albums. Yeah, that old vinyl stuff.
Permission to record a couple of your songs? I really like Poincaritis, it reminds me of hearing my brother in his room just playing solo & it flowing through the whole house.

Yeah sure no worries - glad you liked them! I've got about 23 of my own tunes on the go at the moment, all in various stages of completion and would like to eventually record them all into 3 EPs/albums but don't really have the time at the moment. "Poincaritis" is meant to be a prelude to "A billion suns" but have yet to re-record them both!
I know what you mean about the reel to reel recording - gives the recording more character!
Thanks T...

Yes, that Exodus. It was before Kirk left for Metallica. I still have some old flyers with Kirk on them advertising Bay Area gigs.
Also one other band that was well known around here Blind Illusion played here. I don't know what ever came of them. I think one of the doods went on to join Primus? IDK. I was in my early teens then. My brother has a better memory of it all.

Eclectic really. Everything with a good bass and the beat is fast, does me fine. Pendulum = Dogs Boll***s. Favourite song at the moment would be Heaven & Hot Rods by Stone Temple Pilots.
Like to listen to music whilst playing a game too. Gets you into it, keeps the pace up. Just cool...

My friend and I just invested in an old 1917 wind up 78 rpm phonograph. We also bought a whole bunch of 78 rpm records to go along with it. I’ll tell you what, that thing is creepy. It’s loud as hell and the music on a new-ish 78 comes through so clear and pure that it’s like listening to a ghost. It’s truly something to experience.
