Many of you are already playing Fallout 3, dead space or other games and I myself just started playing Fallout 3 to day.
I have notice some mention of other games in the Outbreak general topic area I have created this thread to help keep things neat and tidy.
Anything about any game post it here : )
Reviews, previews, thoughts or even just talk about stupid things you have done. Just remember to be polite and just because you suck at playing it, doesn’t mean its a shity game.
Please Use Spoiler Warnings

Fallout 3
I just got to mega ton and I decided not to blow it up; I disarmed the bomb and got the house and a joke telling robot. Any one have any recommendations on where to go from here? I’m stuck at work tight now otherwise I wouldn’t be asking bout this but I need something to tide me over until I get home.

WTF? Chopping wood? OK then.
I had heard a lot of mixed thing about that game. Is it any good? I had heard more bad things than good. It looks like it would become repetitive and I heard that it isn’t really much of a free roam game even though it advertises itself as one. I was considering giving it a try.

The original Quake FPS, made by ID Software, the same guys who brought you the Doom video games. Greatest shooter I ever played. The most fun I've ever had with a gun that shoots lightning, rocket launchers, shotguns, and machines. Enemies that scare the crap out of you if you have a weak constitution, towering boss battles, lots of bunny hopping, rocket jumping, circle strafing around stupid monsters, and a lack of reload button. It's difficulty ranged from easy to nightmare, but unlike some games, nightmare is actually winnable with a certain amount of skill. The game will play whatever music is on the cd you have in the computer.. it will play default if you have the quake disc in. Its not advanced, or highly engineered like COD, but I still manage to have more fun on it. Its simple and fun, and it doesn't give you that "this game is old, why am I playing it again?" feeling... you can customize the controls to your liking as well... not common among its generation. It has good graphics for a PC game that was made in the the 90s. My rating: 9.75/10 = Excellent If you start having urges to kick some serious ass, buy this game. It has high replay value. Also, it doesn't cost very much. Beware, the sequel was a doozy. Quake 2 is stupid in my humble opinion, and so was Quake 3 and 4.

Lol The Chopping Wood bit was just a joke.
I love the game I don't really have much to complain about it. When it comes to Free-Roam it is Free-roam. Somewhat the same as Oblivion you can choose which missions to do first. You can continue with the Storyline or just take some side missions which can reward you with diamonds (Game's Currency) or Unlocking more Weapons to be available for Purchase.
You can just explore the entire 50sq km if you wanted to. But expect to encounter hostile Guard Posts.
Wow I sound like an F.A.Q Writer. *ahem*
Far Cry 2 is one that really should be added to your game collection. It's certainly better then most Mediocre games coming out now.

Ah Vance, I was thinking about killing that pickle smoocher but he had a lot of muscle and I was playing a “good character” thus I had shit for weapons and ammo. I restarted the game and said fuck it, I stole a bunch of shit and then blew up Megaton now that I am evil life is so much easier. I have plenty of guns, ammo, stims and caps. I like Mr. Burke he reminds me of the G-Man from HL2 so now I feel like an evil Gordon Freeman if only I had some HEV suit armor to complete the experience. TIP: vv (Highlight to view) vv If you start a new game and want some quick caps try this: when you leave the vault go down the road to the nearby ruins of Spring well and take a left at the intersection from there you should already be able to see a house in decent condition (it looks habitable) inside is a women who owes some guy money and she is hiding there. When you first walk in she will confront you and if you choose the negative response (calm down or I’ll put you down) she will attack you. Shoot the bitch in the head and she has something like 400 caps on her. I can’t remember if I lost karma for killing her as I was mainly defending myself but I could be wrong.

I saved Vance, because he gave me swords, money, and a perk.
Also ifyou guys ever want money, I recommend you pimp your lockpick skill out and raid traders' Supply Cabinets. Easily get 100+ pounds of valuable stuff that way.

Any one ever play Evil Genus for the PC? I love that game, it was so entertaining. The style and the gameplay just made the whole experience. I liked the idea of not being able to directly control everyone in the game it made responding to threats rather challenging but at the same time I could understand how that can become annoying. Sadly, the developer (Elixir) responsible for the game went under and will never get a chance at perfecting the formula.
If you never played it and you’ve always dreamed of being an evil James Bond villain then this is the game for you. It’s pretty cheap now as it was originally released back in 05 I think. Anyways the point I am making with this thread is that EG was a great game and rather underappreciated. There are currently no plans for a sequel so this looks like its going to be one of those classic forgotten games. If your interested, I would try to find it now before it disappears forever…
