Just adding a contribution here... Though a REALLY REALLY small one...
Third Person in outbreak doesn't have real set cam values, so if you want to play in thirdperson, semi-RE4 style, copy what's below.... And paste it into the console.(Which is activated by going into options, key settings, advanced settings, enable developer console. For the one guy who doesn't know)
bind t "thirdperson;cam_idealdist 60;cam_idealpitch 3;cam_sideofs 20"
What you see above means is press T=Thirdperson(To get back to first type 'Firstperson')
If you guys want to tweak the camera for yourselves... cam_idealdist = Duh... Distance from the player. (90=far,10=GLITCHES GALORE) cam_idealpitch= Duh...Again...Pitch of the camera on the player.(0=flat camera, 90=topdown view) cam_sideofs= Side the camera is on, and how far the playermodel is off center.
Well I assume most everyone knew how to do this... But W/E.
VET PLEASE DON'T BAN ME!!! ;D

Too bad Enemies can't grab you in-game. Except for Barnacles.. (Thinks of Lickers From Resident Evil)

Did you copy the code and paste it into the console?
Just typing thirdperson creates a side view.

First off, I would like to say that I'm greatly anticipating your mod. It looks great, veterangamer.
However, this is concerns the third person. I edited my cam_idealpitch, cam_idealyaw, cam_idealdist, and cam_sideofs to get it to look like gears of war style (Over the shoulder) Everything looked great, but whenever I had to fight someone who was at a considerable distance, the crosshair became inaccurate... so much that the wall several feet to the side of the target was taking fire. In other words, the crosshair was aiming at something entirely different than what was being hit by the bullets.
So my question is, what is the solution for this? If you know, please tell me. No sense having a badass playermodel if you can't see it, right?

If anyone you should ask SuperMuffin bout that.

yeah, bubbles (not blubbles ) is absolutely correct... thing is i never intended to have 3rd person view in outbreak except for the deathcam, which is for when the player dies the third person view in SMOD is more of a fluke, and in my personal opinion which I love to think of as right most of the time (cocky mother fucker arent i), the one sole purpose for the third person cam is as i said...player death...and possible driving the buggy i havent managed to figure out some sort of cfg to make the buggy go into third person when you get it in it, while not altering the view set for the deathcam so far, so im afraid, you sir/mam, are on your own with the 3rd person cam, sorry i couldnt help ya
