Well, I saw on the Japanese SMOD forum that vet was hoping if the Author could incorporate the farcry2ish sprint anim in to the game. using this code, you can somewhat simulate the feature by having autoexec.cfg so that script automatically gets applied when the game is launched. viewmodel_r -4.5;viewmodel_u 2.65;viewmodel_f 1.6;viewmodel_p -10.0;viewmodel_y -41.6";viewmodel_adjust 1 alias "+sprints" "viewmodel_adjust 1;smod_ro_aimmode 0;+speed" alias "-sprints" "viewmodel_adjust 0;smod_ro_aimmode 1;-speed" bind "shift" "+sprints" it is originally assass!n's script, but I edited it a bit to make it more fit for gameplay. For example of this script, watch this vid. Youtube Link Ignoring the horrible unfitting music, you can see that the script works nicely on most of the weapons. You might have to edit the script a bit to make it better suit gameplay of Outbreak that vet wants to have. Note - Only changed the link style buddy don't worry :]

yeah turtle, i appreciate the good intention, Kenneth sent me that config file that uses this, it quickly re-arranges the viewmodel position via cvars, but if you notice, and you wont in your video because the sprint is for Long periods of time, that the minute the +speed/run is actived, the viewmodel jumps off orbit for a teeny tiny millisecond, then when +speed is released, it does the same thing, aligning itself back to the center of the screen again.
while an awesome ghetto fix with no need for extra coding, in OUTBREAK (which is selfish of me to ask for since SMOD wasnt created just for me), the player will constantly sprint, then stop to open fire, sprint again, stop, go, stop go, in combat situations...the result is that viewmodel jumping around crazy for a split second, then aligining itself in upward/rotate to simulate far cry 2 run, then again, it jumping crazy all over the place reset the cvar values to default or viewmodel_pos to 0 or whatever.
its very noticable by then 3 or 4 sprint and i just couldnt use it for outbreak.
although a selfish reason for that request to the author, there is still Much good that comes out of this request, because if it were simply added to base of SMOD, every weapon would have this on auto if "disable_sprintshoot" or whatever is activated.
nice try though Tutle again i appreciate your suggestion
note - I edited your post to the movie link, into an html link..., because of the ADS the /youtube style brings with it, which is probably 99% due to the ghetto free forum, cause on the tactical boards they dont have ads
to do this in the future you can just use (WITHOUT COMMENT-OUT //) [//url=www.thankscaptainturtle.com]//Link [///url]
thats just in case you didnt know how to link it which im almost positive you did, no disrespect intended :]
