Something on my mind lately was dynamic weapon generation. When the map is drawn take random ammo types and weapon types laying around the map. I wasn't thinking of it for this specific game but feel free to rip the idea. There would be of course places you would need a specific munition like for the sniper windows, but for the most part it would be cool to have a ton of types of weapons and come across them randomly every time.
Another idea I had was to make a gun and ammo rewards for hard puzzles and skill shots.
The overall idea is to not give someone their favorite gun every time and let them blast away with just that gun, but to make it more dynamic and challenging. Do let them earn it though.

what timing. l4d has a balanced dynamic weapon/ammo placement and generation. No way to earn weapons other than finding them though.

yeah i noticed that too, its a good idea, but im not really aiming for that, it too much randomization can create an arcade-like feel and i'm aimin for somethin more SP/solid/welded in there kinda thing. I'm a fan of "no game is ever the same twice" gameplay styles in the right games, in SP i dont like certain aspects randomized or dynamic, know what i mean foss?
