I guess its my sucky english skill.Ok so.Many weapons like Bizon and MP5 useing normal CSS models without any edit for animation and that means you can easily replace it with any MP5 or P90 skin that you like.

Hmm...if someone could script this nade launcher(My friend will fix it for next pack and of course credit will go to that guy)maybe Veteran would use this. This model www.fpsbanana.com/skins/15278 just needs editing in VMT(it needs removing envmap cmd i think.)and script and we will get great nade launcher=D :EDIT:This cmd must be removed from every VMT file in folder "$envmap" "env_cubemap :Another edit:my friend already going to do that.It will replace normal grenade model.

this interests me greatly
if you provide a working grenade launcher script, ill put it into outbreak for the player and elite npcs to use, using a grenade script but with edited sounds, ill also edit the animations by putting the kick-back or recoil from the rocket launcher, so each launch has the "thoomp" grenade launch + strong kick-back recoil effect to give the illusion its an actual g-launcher

My friend CAN do that but it will be either without reloading anim(it was made for CSS nade so..no reloading animation=(Vet you will have to do it on your own by getting it like-you shoot it and he gets it out of sight and then snaps it back up and plays draw anim.That will look like he set new nade and threw out old one) or one use only.

Sorry for double post but idea died...friend cant do this.When he tried to it just didnt play reload animation for nade.Nor will normal nade launcher(not one that you can attach) launcher work.Sorry

Wait what kind of Grenade Launcher Are we looking for. The 3 Second delay bounce one. Or the Explode upon impact version?

bumping is fine dont worry buddy, threads come and go heheh and a grenade launcher is very interesting, although not ideal in a lot of close quarters areas in the HL2 campaign, still a cool gun, i would rig this up with proper animations and events, but ive really got my hands full at the moment anyone else is more than welcome to do it in the mean-time

I see. I will try to cook some up if I can find a good 40mm grenade model. I think the whole coast section would be perfect for a nade launcher of some sort. Although ideally I want something like this with grenades on a 3-5 second timer

i was gonna say, yeah, the d2_coast maps would be really really fun with that gun, especially since ive slapped tons and tons of soldier shootouts there, the zombie are more concentrated in the tunnels, and certain houses and shacks.
the robotic combine elites we have would also look really cool with the grenade launcher as long as they dont blow themselves up heheh
let me know if you come up with anything at all, this would be really cool for all SMOD's
im also dropping the sawbow from OUTBREAK, its too cartoony, but it's perfect for regular smod/arcade DM style game modes.
Tell you what, we could release a mini-pack with t he grenade launcher, saw-bow, and maybe an additional weapon weapon (or just those two) ...
can release here and on the tactical boards as a present to everyone, that'd be real coo

It would be epic if you could rig a secondary function to switch between timed and impact detonation. I know, I am basically asking if you can make it launch flying pigs but I just thought I would share my brilliance.
